≈ My Spirit has left, ≈
≈ The bodily bondage of earth, ≈
≈ For a better world. ≈
≈ Do not look for me, ≈
≈ In the familiar places, ≈
≈ I have left for home. ≈
≈ Following God’s love, ≈
≈ I live in His Universe, ≈
≈ Safe from death and loss. ≈
≈ I have not left you, ≈
≈ My love surrounds you always, ≈
≈ I am there for you. ≈
≈ Do not worry now, ≈
≈ I am safe in my God’s hands, ≈
≈ His arms enfold me. ≈
≈ Faith and Hope and Love, ≈
≈ Have guided my soul homeward, ≈
≈ As Christ has promised. ≈
≈ That where His home is, ≈
≈ I now live with and in Him. ≈
≈ That is His promise. ≈

≈ My friend, where are you? ≈
≈ Yesterday, we were talking, ≈
≈ Of times past - future. ≈
≈ As self reliant, ≈
≈ Comfortable in your own home. ≈
≈ You asked for little. ≈
≈ But when you were asked, ≈
≈ Generous with time - money. ≈
≈ Sharing with others. ≈
≈ You were a strong man. ≈
≈ When death came to take you home, ≈
≈ You did not complain. ≈
≈ Silently you stepped, ≈
≈ Onto that eternal road. ≈
≈ God’s promise you knew. ≈
≈ Eternal promise, ≈
≈ To guide you back to His Home. ≈
≈ To join your family. ≈
≈ We deeply loved you, ≈
≈ And now deeply missing you. ≈
≈ Dear friend, where are you? ≈
≈ We know you are safe, ≈
≈ Though we long to hear your voice, ≈
≈ To see you again. ≈
≈ Our hearts are broken, ≈
≈ With a pain, only God heals, ≈
≈ With fatherly love. ≈
≈ In our memory, ≈
≈ You will never leave our side, ≈
≈ Our heart’s remember. ≈

Psalm 23 (King James Bible)
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
